Adult Day Center

For those families whose loved ones may not be ready for long term care or assisted living, or for seniors who want to continue to live at home, the Shapiro-Rudolph Adult Day Center offers a program that is designed to keep participants healthy, active, and engaged in the world around them.  Family members have peace of mind knowing their loved one is benefiting socially, and is receiving comprehensive supportive services in a safe and welcoming environment.

Working with an individual’s family, the staff at the Day Center conducts an assessment of individual needs and designs a service plan for each senior that:

• promotes self esteem, independence, and dignity
• offers a schedule that incorporates interests, activities, and social opportunities
• strives to improve physical and cognitive abilities
• provides medical attention

 Our adult day center provides:

• A full range of activities geared to the interests of the participants
• Breakfast, lunch and a snack
• A full range of nursing services
• Physical, occupational, and speech therapies in a state-of-the-art gym
• Staff that is trained in Alzheimer’s and other dementias
• Security system to prevent wandering
• Extended hours for working caregiver
